Another volunteer work session at our future home on Saturday 5/4 @9:30am

Attention all wood workers.

We plan to have another work session meeting this Saturday, 5/4 @ 9:30am.  If you haven’t been there yet, the address of our future wood shop is 33501-A   Lake Rd. Avon Lake, Ohio 44012, in the Artstown Plaza shopping center.

Two weeks ago, a large volunteer crew cleared the floor to get it ready to bring some wood working machines in. But first things first. During this week volunteers are going over to the shop to break down the skate track to salvage any and all lumber. This lumber that will be used to build work benches.

Meanwhile, the BOD is finalizing our bylaws and simultaneously working on the 501 (c) 3 application to become a nonprofit corporation.

As you are probably aware by now (but I don’t mind mentioning it again) we are currently a LLC nonprofit in Ohio, starting up on less than a shoe string. We have little money. What money we have has been donated to us by interested people. Our survival is going to depend on you, the potential members. We are still accepting non-refundable, non-tax deductible donations that can be used as seed money or start up money.

If you would like to help make your wood shop a reality and would like to donate, please feel free to bring a check to the shop on Saturday or mail it to the above address. All donations are greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please email me at admin@nccwoodshop.org

See you Saturday,

Gene Fox,

President
